Disclaimer

Everything a reader should know before acting on anything on this site, gathered in one place rather than scattered in footnotes.

Quick answer

Metaglucent is a dietary supplement. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Nothing on this site is medical advice. No result is promised or implied, and no published human trial exists on this formula. The label says the product is not for those under 18 or pregnant or nursing mothers, and that anyone taking a medication or with a medical condition should consult a physician first. Themetaglucent earns a commission on orders placed through this site.

The FDA statement

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

That sentence is printed on the label, in its own box, and it is required by law for the structure and function claims the pack makes. It does not make a disease claim permissible, and the front of this bottle carries the phrase Diabetes Support Formula — which is the subject of the first section of our home page.

The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are marketed. Where this site says a product is made in an FDA-registered facility, that means the factory is on a list the FDA keeps, which is a requirement for any facility making food or supplements for sale in the US. It is not approval of the product, the formula or any claim.

The statements that apply to everything on this site

1

Not medical advice

Nothing here is medical advice and nothing here is a diagnosis. If you have a health concern, a symptom that is new or getting worse, or a prescription you are unsure about, speak to a clinician who can see your history. A website cannot.

2

No result is promised

No outcome is promised or implied. This site publishes no customer reviews at all, because the review block in the material supplied to us is marked, in its own words, as layout copy only. No published human trial exists on this formula, and the research we cite tested single ingredients at stated doses.

3

Adults only

This product is for adults 18 and over. The label says not for use for those under the age of 18 or pregnant or nursing mothers, and to consult with a physician prior to use especially if you are taking a medication or have a medical condition.

4

Interactions are real, and mostly uncheckable

Chromium matters if you take metformin, a sulfonylurea or insulin: the NIH warns of an additive effect and a possible increased risk of hypoglycaemia. Berberine matters for any prescription at all, because it has been reported to decrease CYP2D6, 2C9 and 3A4 activity. Cassia cinnamon matters if you have a liver condition. Thirteen of the seventeen ingredients have no published amount, so none of that can be assessed by dose. Show the panel to your pharmacist before the first capsule.

5

We earn when you buy here

Themetaglucent is a USA Authorized Metaglucent Retailer and earns a commission on orders placed through this site. That is why the missing price, the absent reviews and an editorial score of 2.8 out of 5 are all published here.

Facts can change

Labels are reformulated, prices change and windows move. Everything here was read off the material supplied to us and carries a last-updated date. If a bottle in your hand disagrees with a page here, the bottle wins and we want to know.

About the sources on this site

Every study cited anywhere on this site was opened and read. We do not cite a paper from an abstract, from another site's summary, or from a citation list we have not checked.

Where research found nothing useful, or found less than a seller would like, it stays on the reference list. Removing inconvenient studies would make the evidence look tidier than it is, which is the opposite of the point.

We have not invented a doctor, a reviewer, a testimonial or a study identifier. The pages here are written by the Themetaglucent Editorial Desk, which is an organisation rather than a person, and we say so rather than manufacturing a byline.

Corrections go to [email protected]. A correction changes the page and moves the last-updated date forward.

The firmest line on this site

Do not exceed recommended dose. Not for use for those under the age of 18 or pregnant or nursing mothers. Consult with a physician prior to use especially if you are taking a medication or have a medical condition. That is the manufacturer's own caution panel, printed on the label, word for word.

One disclaimer specific to this product

The front of this bottle reads Diabetes Support Formula. Diabetes is a named disease, and no dietary supplement may lawfully claim to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent one.

We publish that phrase because it is printed on the product and because a reader is entitled to see what they are buying. Publishing it is not endorsing it, and nothing anywhere on this site should be read as a claim that this product treats, prevents or manages diabetes. It does not, and it may not say that it does.

21 CFR 101.93(g)(2) lists the name of the product among the factors by which FDA judges whether a statement is a disease claim. We print that regulation beside the photograph on the home page and leave the judgement to a regulator.

If blood sugar is the reason you are on this site, the most useful thing on it is the sentence telling you to speak to the clinician who manages it. That advice is free, it is repeated on six pages, and it costs us a sale rather than earning one.

The limits of everything published here

We can tell you what the label says. We transcribed all of it, at native resolution, and published every line including the parts a seller would prefer to summarise.

We can tell you what named public sources say about the ingredients on that label. Every one of those sources was opened and read, and where a source reported its own weaknesses, we quoted those too.

We cannot tell you what is actually inside the capsule, because thirteen of the seventeen dietary ingredients have no published amount and no test report exists that anyone has shown us.

And we cannot tell you what will happen if you take it. Nobody can. No published human trial exists on this formula, no outcome is named on the pack, and individual results vary in a way that food, sleep and activity affect more than any capsule does.

What we actually did, so you can judge the rest

We read the Supplement Facts panel at native resolution and transcribed every line of it: four nutrients with amounts, thirteen botanicals inside a 528 mg blend, the footnote, the other-ingredients line, the caution panel, the storage line and the distributor block.

We recalculated all four printed Daily Value percentages against the FDA's published Daily Values. Vitamin C, vitamin D, magnesium and chromium all check out, and we published the arithmetic rather than the conclusion alone.

We derived a ceiling for every one of the thirteen positions in the blend from the descending-order requirement in 21 CFR 101.36(c), and published all thirteen figures with a plain warning that ceilings are not amounts.

We opened and read ten public sources, quoted them directly, and included the passages where those sources report their own limitations.

And we declined to publish the supplied review block, because the document it came in describes it as layout copy only. Everything above is checkable by anybody with the same label image and an afternoon.

If a page here is wrong

Write to [email protected] and say which page and what is wrong with it. We will check it, correct it, and move the last-updated date at the foot of that page forward. A correction that matters will be described as a correction rather than quietly absorbed.

Who writes this, and under what constraints

Pages on this site are written by the Themetaglucent Editorial Desk, which is an organisation rather than a named individual. We say so plainly rather than manufacturing a byline, a photograph and a set of credentials nobody could check.

The constraints are the ones listed in our terms: the label outranks every other source, nothing is invented, every citation was opened, no supplement is ever described as FDA approved, and criticism appears beside the buy button rather than behind a link.

Those constraints are the reason this site has no star rating, no price, no test report and no timeline. Each of those absences cost us something commercially, and each of them is what the evidence actually supported.

The most useful thing any reader can do with a page on this site is check it. Every figure here comes from a document you can open, and the label image we worked from is published in full on the supplement facts page.
